Solidarity with the trade union movement in Iraq.

There is a power struggle between reactionaries in Iraq, US occupation, former Baathists and Islamists. Australian unionists were prominent in opposing the invasion of Iraq. Now the people of Iraq, and especially the workers of Iraq need our solidarity for more than just withdrawal of Australian troops.

The emerging Iraqi unions can challenge the reactionaries. We are building solidarity with them in Australia. Currently based in Sydney, Australia we encourage similar minded people to establish groups in other locations.
