AuNoWriMo is the local playground for Austin area folks participating in the wonder that is National Novel Writing Month.

When requesting to join this group PLEASE:

1. Be a registered NanoWriMo participant at www.nanowrimo.org
2. Be writing (or planning to write) a lengthy work of FICTION in November
3. Be located in or around Austin, Texas - or likely to stop by at some point
4. Provide your NANOWRIMO USER NAME in your comments when you ask to join!

This group can be whatever we want to make it. In the past few years it's existed primarily as an online group:

1. As a back-up during October and November whenever the main National Novel Writing Month (www.nanowrimo.org) website goes wonky
2. To stay in touch with a large group of Austin wrimos
3. To schedule occasional social meet-ups
4. To celebrate the publication of our work and other important life events

Note: We are not able to maintain our huge calendar of events on multiple platforms.
