Today's Girl Scouts promote the feminazi left wing agenda, including
promotion of lesbianism & abortion.
Indeed, perhaps the Scouts' most controversial change has been the
organization's foray into issues of sexuality. As more girls become
sexually aware and active at earlier ages, the Girl Scouts become
bolder in embracing the sexual revolution.

As a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts
(WAGGS), Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. is an international advocate for
reproductive rights of women worldwide. It participated in the
United Nations' 1995 Beijing summit on women and last year's follow-
up Beijing+5 meeting in New York.
The Senior Scout handbook contains exercises that encourage girls to
ponder such things as "supporting a decision to pull a life-support
system from a dying relative" and abortion "ending a pregnancy."

The Scouts' executive director Marty Evans a military feminazi from
the Navy: As the Navy's chief recruiter, she was responsible for its
debilitating 12-12-5 affirmative-action policy.

According to Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military
Readiness, "[Evans] demanded quotas with full implementation when
the liberal control of the Navy was at its peak. She is also very
much a feminist… who was promoted and thrived in the Clinton
military."

Today's Girl Scouts are encouraged to look with admiration to
celebrity former Girl Scouts who make up a Who's Who of left-wing
feminism: U.S. senators Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barbara Mikulski;
former Sen. Carol Mosley Braun; Today Show host Katie Couric and Ms.
magazine founder Gloria Steinem.

Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. has vociferously supported Title IX
legislation that requires gender equity in sports. One Girl Scouts
resource book urges girls to make sure that their schools
discriminate against boys by complying with Title IX and to wage war
if the schools do not embrace it.

In the Scouts' literature for girls translates into language on
dating that makes all alternatives acceptable. One resource book for
Girl Scouts explains, "Some girls have sexual attractions or desires
for people of the same sex." No moral judgment here.

The Patriots' Trail Girl Scout Council in Massachusetts, for
instance, held a volunteer workshop last year on sexual orientation,
working in tandem with the Gay Lesbian Youth Support project "to
educate us about overcoming barriers that may exist in our
organization and instilling a culture that is inviting to all
girls," according to Council spokeswoman Mary Jo Kane. Out of the
workshop came a mentoring program "for lesbian women and girls
dealing with sexual identity."

A girl with green hair and fingernails appears in a hip ad campaign
unveiled late last year by the Girl Scouts in Georgia: "Yeah, we
still wear green. But a lot else has changed." A second ad in the
campaign features a girl's shoulder bearing a tattoo with the Girl
Scouts' trefoil symbol.

In a speech shortly after becoming executive director, the Scouts'
Marty Evans boasted, "We're not your mother's Girl Scout troop." No
kidding.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reported last summer on a vivid example
of the "authenticity" of today's Girl Scouts:

For those of us who remember the Girl Scouts as the quiet girls in
class who wore their green uniforms on Wednesdays, encountering
Katze Ludeke can be quite an eye-opener. She seldom wears her sash
for St. Croix Valley Troop 1256, preferring to accessorize with army
boots and a lavender bra strap that slides persistently down her
bare shoulder. Rather than stitching doilies and tea cozies, the
talented seamstress has created her own costume company specializing
in "fetish-wear." Instead of going for the Gold Award — the Girl
Scouts' highest honor — by reading to senior citizens, Ludeke pushed
to start her own support group for at-risk teens called Queer Youth
Exist. For her Gold Award application… Ludeke is submitting her work
with gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender teens, with the support
of her troop.

An even more vivid account of the Girl Scouts appeared in the 1997
book, On My Honor: Lesbians Reflect on Their Scouting Experience,
which was published independent of the Scouts. The book's
authenticity is unknown, but it brought a lot of public attention to
the Scouts' lesbian membership. Girl Scout staff make the
extraordinary claim that roughly one in three of the Girl Scouts
paid professional staff is lesbian — a claim that cannot be
verified, but which nevertheless marks a contrast to the Scouts of
yesterday. Girl Scout policy forbids sex on Girl Scout time, but On
My Honor is filled with dramatic coming-of-age stories sparked by
sexual encounters in the Girl Scouts.

Lesbian Girl Scout Leader French-Kisses 12-Year-Old Girl

A former Manchester, New Hampshire, Girl Scout leader has been given
a 90-day suspended sentence for French kissing a 12-year-old girl at
a troop sleepover.
Lorenz admitted to police that she kissed the girl and told the
child about her own sexual experiences with other women.
Lorenz offered to "help" the girl if she wanted to experience a
sexual encounter with another female.
