Naomi Wolf is a bubblehead, even if her heart's in the right place or at least in the neighborhood.

It's interesting how one's perception of people can change over time. Two of my favorite writers are Pat Buchanan and Paul Craig Roberts, both of whom I despised in the 1980s as Reaganite apologists. I recall even sending an anti-Buchanan letter to the editor of a local paper around 1992.  At one point,  I would have thought Wolf was just another liberal bubblehead, but hearing some of her recent comments has very much convinced me otherwise.

It was so refreshing to hear somebody actually care about what a libertarian has to say. I'm
not sure I buy that she's as naive as she portrayed herself, but I really don't care at this point. Brady and I saw Wolf speak at the Revolution march, and I really think she's going to be
crucial for building a bridge between conscious liberals and libertarians. She understands the
necessity for coalition and a narrow focus on the truly dangerous aspects of government. Her
willingness to engage us, even when we're being pedantic, is quite admirable and generous.

If we end up chasing her away with our typical antics and lack of tact, I think I'll follow her
out the door.
