Welcome to the Calgary Attachment Parenting Support Group, a branch of Attachment Parenting Canada. In this forum, you will find support and validation for your choices, help with your challenges and information to make your decisions that are best for your family. This group is intended for all Attachment Parenting families with children, from babies and up to the teen years and beyond. This forum is respectfully moderated by a committee of attachment parenting parents. We have parenting education backgrounds, write regular columns for Calgary's Child Magazine and are here to answer your attachment parenting questions. We are not experts. Every parent who signs up here has a enormous amount of experience and knowledge and we welcome diversity and tolerance. We have regular meet-ups in the city at various venues.

We have a few guidelines for participation:
We welcome all opinions and aim for inclusiveness.
We ask that you will be as respectful with your communication with each other as we strive for in our parenting.
Feel free to mention your home-based business as we wish to support your family goals.
Use your I-statements and be kind to each other.
If you feel offended by someone's email, seek to understand first, instead of making assumptions, and listen and clarify, before writing a response. Better yet, pick up the phone and discuss it in person as it's easier to reconnect over a real time conversation.
