Description

This list is for the discussion of Historical Martial Arts in the Kingdom of Atlantia.

Historic Martial Arts consists of the study of combat forms throughout the SCA period. It is research based and demonstration driven, and is a non-competitive way to explore the rich martial tradition of various cultures.

Our goal here is to grow in our ability to interpret and implement the techniques shown in historic combat manuals.

A few simple rules:

1) Assertions require evidence.
2) Give direct questions direct answers.
3) Personal attacks, trolling, or any other behavior not conducive to academic discussion will not be tolerated.
4) Edit out unnecessary parts of any message to which you reply.
5) Have a care to things like grammar, spelling, and paragraph breaks.

Please sign your posts with your SCA name.
