Go Delilah! Unfortunately, I don't think walking
out is enough... I think other people's views have
been forced down the troats of others for too long.
Isn't prayer something that should be taught at home?

our governor, rick perry, has decided to make
legalized school prayer a campaign issue! he has already
let a christian prayer at a mandatory assembly at a
school in east texas. fortunately if he tries to lead a
prayer at my school, i know i won't be alone in walking
out.

The recent events of September 11th and after
have further confirmed my longstanding belief that ALL
religion is dangerous. Most religion, including Mouslem,
Christianity, Ba'hai, Judaism, Mormanism, and especially
Jahova's Witness' are based on intolerance of others. Some
are more radical than others... but, to their credit,
they are not as hypocritical as moderates. They may
believe in some evil shit, but at least they really
believe.<br><br>Each of these religions think that they have all of
the answers to everything and that I will be punished
for not following them. I have friends in all faiths,
and I believe that they need these fanciful hopes to
survive, but the mythology (the bible) tends to incite
many of the evil events that happen in this world. The
pure hatred caused by the egos of such people is the
most dangerous thing I could think of. Mix in a little
hunger and thirst, and you have the Al Queda.<br><br>I
am a married woman, and I would rather be naked in
front of 20 horny atheists than be fully clothed in a
hotel room with a religious man. I truly believe I
would have a better chance at keeping my virtue. For,
it is religion that causes our world to think of
women as objects and objects we remain, no matter the
capacity. <br><br>In case I haven't mentioned it lately, I
don't begrudge anyone their beliefs, I just wish they
would leave me alone with my belief in science and
disinterest in how I came to be. There is but one thing I am
certain of when it comes to my creation, my parents had
sex.

I have been away for a while and just wanted to
say hello to everyone.<br><br>There are two things I
want to share:<br><br>1. I am really sick of seeing
and hearing God Bless America. I really feel like
religious people are like little five year olds who make up
stories about things to try and explain what happens.
Like the little kid on that cheese commercial who has
that wild eyed story about how a cow goes to the moon
and that is how cheese is made. It seems, since
September 11th, that I have been bombarded by family and
friends with Godly news, and it is beginning to depress
me, thinking that there are such immature, silly
people out there.<br><br>2. I have other views to, in
fact, if anyone else hates pornography as much as I do,
you should join my club... I have some exciting plans
for that club, so check it out. Because yahoo won't
allow the word "porn" on the name of the club, even if
there is an "anti" in front of it, I had to name it
AntiSicko's. See you.

As we all know, it was mouslem radicals that
attacked the world trade centers and the pentagon. I was
watching dateline (something like that) it said that bin
laden's view on the war they had against the ussr was one
"against atheists" I would like some of your views on
radicalists, of anysort. (and would you consider the Chinese
gov. to be atheist radicals? and how about christian
radical here in the states?)

um, don't get me wrong, but I'm VERY irritated at
what you say.... "God in the beginning made us Human,
in His Image. Let us now <br>put the lie behind us,
and return to our Father, Who loves us..." <br> Ok,
fuckin A. All I would have, if I were to believe in God,
is the testaments and all that bull. I'm told that
it is gods will passed through those who wrote the
bible, and preach in his name. Yes, I believe its all a
lie. definately the in His Image crap. If this is a
lie, as even you say, what is stopping the rest of it
to be so?

The Perfect Artist<br><br> When you watch those
public tv. shows chronicling the violence of<br>
Creation, the infinite blank slate of the material
universe, or the <br> cosmic drama of life, try to realize
one thing - Another description<br> of what you are
being shown is this... Nature is Perfect as
Nature.<br><br> For some people, this revelation leaves no place
for God. To their<br> thinking, Nature is simply too
independent, too perfect as Nature...<br> An Omnipotent God
would never have created a world so perfectly<br>
designed that it was free...<br><br> For others of us, the
revelation that Nature is Perfect as Nature<br> is simply
"beneath God". If there is a God, so these people's
thinking<br> goes, He certainly never would have made Nature
so reliant upon<br> (and such a perfect expression
of) MATERIAL design...<br><br> And for still others
of us, the revelation is simply too LARGE for<br>
God... To these people, the fact that Nature is so vast,
so complex,<br> so almost infinitely diverse, proves
that - "Obviously a purposeful<br> Mind couldn't be
the Creator...Only random chance, the working out<br>
of blind mathematics within and against the backdrop
of a void,<br> could have the power to create
something like this.."<br><br><br><br> We have discovered
the perfection of God's Creation, and, somehow,<br>
it has become an offense to
us...<br><br><br><br><br> The Mystery of Creation, like all true art, lies
in paradox-<br> God is so perfectly in control of
His creation that it is <br> free...<br><br> He is
perfectly transcendet (outside of) and yet perfectly<br>
immanent (in every detail) in His Creation at the same
time...<br><br> And his Creation gives the illusion of having
sprung to life <br> in and of itself, but this is only
because it is the Work of the<br> Perfect Artist, in
wihch no sign of artifice can be
seen...<br><br><br><br><br> So when you're having trouble believing in God
because of how <br> "natural" Nature is, remember one
thing - This is how it had to be. If<br> it were
anything less, it wouldn't be the Creation of the
Perfect<br> Artist...<br><br><br><br> "Receive the Kingdom of
God as a little child..."<br><br><br> God in the
beginning made us Human, in His Image. Let us now <br> put
the lie behind us, and return to our Father, Who
loves us, and<br> calls us all to holiness in
love...<br><br><br> wolfriend@...

As a student, I feel that Creationism in school
might be a good idea. After I studied it, my beliefs in
Evolution were enforced 100X: it's just rediculous that one
can so strongly believe in creationism without any
proof found what so ever, and ask me how I can believe
in Evolutionism, just because they think is has a
couple things wrong with it. I would like to hear your
opinions.

yeah, my late mother (r.i.p meine mutter!) use to
bring me to a unitarian church when I was young. I
learned about christianity, judaism, and islam. But I
also learned about many pagan RELIGIONS (I hate the
term mythology! Don't you?!) from the teutonic ones,
to the ones of nigeria (ZUMBI ZUMBI BLOW THEM AWAY!
~SOUL FLY~ At least, I think that's what Max C. is
singing about) it was a very interesting time for me. I
decided that I didn't want to go anymore because I just
wanted to sleep in, pretty much. And besides, the
onlything that ever got through my skull was this concept
of "atheism" and "agnositcism" :) Anyway, in
conclussion, I'd just like to say that it was a very good
experience, and I was splashed with a good many memories when
I returned for my mothers service last spring.
Probably the only good thoughts in my head, looking at the
very sad circumstances. <br> Where ever you are, what
everyou are, or if you are at all, I miss you mom.

Hello everybody i have just joined this
club.<br>I've been an atheist for years, but that's not because
i'm mad at society or something like that. It's my
scientific search for the truth in this life that lead me to
it. So you can call this scientific atheism, because
it refuses god and religion on the bases of their
incompatibility with scientific logic.<br> I live in a country
(Lebanon) that embraces up to 18 religious "subgroups"
officially. Atheists here are not accepted generally in the
society.<br> I want to enphasise that atheism is not a way of
life, it's simply a rejection of an old, rusty, theory
of existence, formulated by an imaginary god!!!

I have done as you asked. I want to tell you a
little about me. I am not an atheist, I just don't
believe in anything. In order to tack a label on myself,
I would have to actually practice something, since
I am human and prove it every day, I prefer to call
myself a practical humanist, but my favorite is "I just
am...". I too have a club, also under atheism (much to my
dismay) and have even fewer members than this (also to my
dismay). <br><br>The structure is a little different, my
plan is to take over the world eventually, but for now
I will just settle for projects to complete and
topics to tackle so we can stun and amaze our
friends.<br><br>Now, I joined this club to see how other people think.
From what I see, much of the club is motivated by
distain of political Christianity. That is to say,
Christians are out to take over our schools, restaurants,
televisions, computers, and anything else. I am of the firm
belief that this is true, though they all have good
intentions. Unfortunately, the path of good intentions leads
to H E double toothpicks! Anyway, I think that
pushing your beliefs on people and governmental agencies
so that people don't have a choice but to follow if
they want to continue living where they are can
eventually lead to following simply to live. Hmmmmm, didn't
one of the apostles do that??? I think that acting
this way is the most unChristian thing you could ever
do. Can anyone explain why I think this way. Read the
paragraph over, and try to keep the thought strait because
I do tend to wander, and think of the many things a
person does under the guise of Christianity, thereby
disproving their own...<br><br>Looking forward to your
feedback. Remember, this is the format I saw for this club.
My club is a little different. Check it out at "No
Guy in the Sky" Club on Yahoo.<br><br>SEEYA--RAKAKAY
