The AtenScribes Yahoo group is a non-official Forum for all interested Scribes working in the of the Kingdom of Atenveldt. It is NOT a forum operated by Kingdom Officers and it does NOT serve as a forum for official Scribal Office business. Unlike Barony or Shire based Scriptoria, we will focus on issues of interest to scribes though out the Kingdom

Membership is purely voluntary and exists only for the purpose of free and open discussion of information and ideas that are of interest to the members.

Although this forum is NOT an official forum operated by the Kingdom of Atenveldt or the SCA, members are expected to follow the SCA commonly recognized standards for courtesy as stated in the Electronic Communication Policy of the Kingdom of Atenveldt as follows:

A. Extend common courtesy and respect in the manner of their interactions.

B. Allow others to state conflicting thoughts and ideas without rancor or name calling.

C. Avoid profanity, abusive or threatening language, personal attacks, and ridiculing or
otherwise denigrating others.

D. Avoid public rudeness, disruptive behavior, and broadcasting gossip and unfounded rumors.

E. Use private email (not postings on public forums) to express accusations of misconduct,
complaints about the behavior of others, or concerns that require official investigation by
Royalty/Landed Nobility/Officers.

F. Utilize the SCA avenues for resolution of grievances between individuals defined in Corpora,
APPENDIX A and LEX ATENVELDTUS, Section VI.C to resolve issues.
