This is just to let you know that I am currently experiencing
computer problems due to a nasty virus (actually it is a worm). The
worm has messed up my internet configuration so that presently I do
not have access to the internet except through internet cafes, etc.
This means that I will not be able to respond to emails etc, as
quickly. Please bear with me.

I will post again (to this newsgroup) to inform you when the problem
has been fixed.

uncheck all the boxes.

changes.

Mr Sharon is about to enter this new sub-cycle which appears
significant in terms of his current life circumstances. The Heh sub-
cycle is characterised by the Yetziratic attribution 'Aries' (the war-
like sign of the zodiac) and the tarot-card 'The Emperor'. These
symbols emphasise the need and desire for leadership and to impress
one's will forcefully upon one's environment. He appears already to
be doing this, but it might be due to his present Daleth sub-cycle
governed by Mars/Saturn (and The Empress of the tarot). [Note: The
Sefer Yetzirah ascribes Mars to the letter Daleth. My own attribution
for Daleth is Saturn. Both of these planets are traditionally thought
of as 'malefics' and can be reconciled with current events in
Israel/Palestine.]

Ariel Sharon's new Heh sub-cycle is an important test-case that will
help us to determine the true structural nature of the Jacob's Wheel
cycles that come after the first 73� year rotation of Jacob's Wheel.

Astrologically, this period (27th Apr - 26th Jun, 2002) is very
significant because on the 26th May there occurs in the heavens the
final opposition in the present series of Saturn-Pluto oppositions.
(This cluster of oppositions occurs every 33� years approx.) The
present opposition cycle (August, 2001 - May, 2002) has coincided
with the high level of global conflict and violence that has been a
feature of 2001-2 - including (of course) the September 11th, 2001
terrorist attack and its aftermath.

But not only is there an exact Pluto-Saturn opposition occuring on
the 26th May, 2002, but also there is a lunar eclipse on that same
day as well!!! The eclipse is occuring at 5� Sagittarius -
significant because it 'squares' both Ariel Sharon's natal Sun (7�
Pisces) and Yasir Arafat's natal Sun (3� Virgo) thus forming an
astrological 'Grand Cross' synastrically between both men's charts.
This combination of astrological events is powerful indeed!

It is said that the influence of an eclipse begins to be felt approx.
six weeks prior to the day of the eclipse - so we are already within
orb of that energy (today being 24th Apr, 2002). The influence should
become more intense as we near the 26th May - especially since the
Pluto-Saturn opposition is precisely coinciding with it.

Hi, this is a non-esoteric post that will inform you on how to get
rid of those annoying pop-ups and ads from my AstroQab web-site (and
all other web-sites for that matter).

Recently I noticed that Fortune City have increased the advertising
on their free sites - which includes AstroQab. The reason I hadn't
noticed until now is that I generally use WEBWASHER (a free utility
installed on my computer) which filters out all the ads and pop-ups.
There are other software programs available as well that may be just
as effective as Webwasher, for example...

Webwasher is a more advanced and customisable program so I would
recommend it to those of you who are familiar with program
installation. If you decide to use Webwasher you will need to allow

cookie settings in the WebWasher options window.

I have just added a new page to the 'Yetziratic Magic Research
Project' section of AstroQab. It discusses the idea of there being a
total of 462 'gates' (as opposed to the normally accepted 231). Aryeh
Kaplan states in his book The Sefer Yetzirah (page 118) that... "In
some versions of Sefer Yetzirah, the actual reading is '462 Gates'."

There are certain psalms in the (OT) Book of Psalms that have been
composed around the order of the Hebrew alephbet. It is said that
these particular psalms hold keys to various qabalistic mysteries
pertaining to the meaning of the twenty-two Hebrew letters. Here is a
selection of such psalms...

Psalm 34
Psalm 111
Psalm 112
Psalm 119
Psalm 145

(Do you know of any others?)

Usually, each verse of the psalm begins with one of the Hebrew
letters in their natural order from Aleph to Tav, but sometimes each
verse of a psalm corresponds with two Hebrew letters (such as is the
case with psalms 111 and 112 for example). Or, alternatively, several
verses are assigned to one Hebrew letter as in psalm 119.

Psalm 34 is interesting in that an expected verse corresponding to
the letter Vav appears to have been omitted by the author. But it is
possible, however, that verse 6 is meant to be divided in half - with
the latter half corresponding to the letter Vav.

As I was preparing this post I noticed that (in both the English
translations I was using) the numbering system of the translated
verses is incorrect. I have corrected it below.

Would anyone like to comment on this psalm, or make some observations
about particular verses, etc? Comparing the verses with their
associated tarot trumps can be interesting and illuminating.

the solar system.

Astronomers are accustomed to such things. Distant pulsars and black holes
often bathe the galaxy with blasts of x-radiation. But this time the source
isn't exotic and far away. It's right here in our own solar system.

"The pulses are coming from the north pole of Jupiter," says Randy
Gladstone, a scientist at the Southwest Research Institute and leader of the
team that made the discovery using NASA's orbiting Chandra X-ray
Observatory.

Above: Every 45 minutes an x-ray source blinks near Jupiter's north magnetic
pole. This animation, based on data from the Chandra X-ray Observatory,
shows the hot spot pulsing 15 times during one complete 10-hour rotation of
the giant planet.

Other observatories had done that years ago. The surprise is what Chandra
has revealed for the very first time: the location of the beacon --
surprisingly close the planet's pole -- and the regular way it pulses.

I have joined the group because I am interested in self-initiation
and astrology.  I am 25 years old, and therefore have little
experience in the Qaballah or Astrology. In fact, I lived the
majority of my life, 20 years of it, with very little regard for
such matters.  My attempt to disprove astrology led me to an
unquenchable passion for studying it, and that led me to explore
other areas yet.  Since last summer, I have become interested in
initiation, and have had a wondrous time of things since then. I
have not, however had anyone to discourse with; I look forward to
that changing.

Thanks for your networking support Tink!

As an aside, I have just heard a rumour that Yahoo Groups will be down for
more maintenance from the 15th to the 18th of March. Hopefully it's one of
those untrue rumours, but I thought I'd pass it on in case members
experience posting difficulties during that time.
