The mission of the ASPRS is to advance knowledge and improve understanding of mapping sciences and to promote the responsible applications of photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), and supporting technologies. This group shall serve as a forum for the engagement of the student membership. It shall be the link between the student membership and the student advisory council, liaison to the Board of Directors and Executive Director.
