Membership in this private non-searchable Yahoo list for parents (and other relatives, spouses, or guardians) with children with Asperger Syndrome or High-Functioning Autism (or related) need not be associated with personal attendance at meetings of its sponsor, the Greater Los Angeles Asperger Syndrome Parents' Support Group (in West Los Angeles). Teens and adults with Asperger Syndrome are welcome on this list -- and are welcome to participate in discussions -- but the main focus is on discussions among parents, guardians, spouses, etc.

Absolutely NO advertising is allowed on the list (except a sentence or two of self-description as part of your signature line). Any web connections without ORG or EDU suffixes will be presumed to be advertising. Anyone who breaks this rule will be expelled _immediately_. (Appeals are not done through the list but instead should be directly to Jim at jdevine@lmu.edu.) The appropriate place for advertising is our e-blast at laasperger@gmail.com.
