The Asia Parents List started off in 1997 as an ONLINE E-Mail support group mainly for Parents staying here in Singapore. The List has gradually evolved to include parents in the neighbouring regions like Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Thailand Malaysia. It is for Expectant Parents, New Parents, and most importantly Experienced Parents (whether 1 mth or 10 yrs!) to share their problems their "tried tested" experiences.

Topics for discussion can range from Pregnancy, Preparing for Parenthood, Breastfeeding,Childcare Parenting in general. Some of us parents would really appreciate such discussion as in the Singapore/Asian Context! A large proportion of mothers here are breastfeeding, so the Group tends to have a strong pro-breastfeeding stance. This has proven useful and encouraging to many new parents.
