Description

The Church of the Ascension is an Episcopal church with a long history of fine music and beautiful worship liturgy on Fifth Avenue in New York's historic Greenwich Village.

This Yahoo! discussion group is primarily for members and friends of the parish -- not because we want to exclude anyone, but due to the realities of Web sites and spam, if we don't limit it to people we know, it could quickly degenerate into spam ads for Viagra and home mortgage refinancing.

To subscribe now, click the "Join this Group" link near the upper-right area of the screen, or the "Join the Group" link shown at the bottom of the invitation e-mail you may have received.

To subscribe via e-mail, send an e-mail to ascensionnyc-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. You will receive an automated response to confirm that you did, in fact, request to be signed up for this discussion group. You hit reply and send, to confirm, and at which point the request will go to me. If I don't recognize the e-mail address, I may write you to ask who you are, just to make sure you're not an advertiser, and then once I hear back, I'll approve you and you're good to go. --Derek

PS: I have no say over the advertising that appears in conjunction with this site. Since I listed it in the "religion" category, God only knows what will show up here. Well, only God and Yahoo's advertising department, I suppose.
