Art Techniques is a members only mixed-media art group where all levels of art experience are welcome. In this group, we discuss art in general, your work specifically as well art materials, methods, other artists, and of course techniques.

So what are artTechniques?

ArtTechniques spans from a gamut of various Mixed Media art techniques trying to always incorporate art safety or being green with your art supplies, storage, great on topic conversation, hints at the best books, the neatest You-tubes and of course our vendors offer terrific sales all in a package of a warm and friendly community.

Each month we tackle different techniques like painting (watercolor, crayons. pastels, oils and acrylics), assemblage (including jewelry, metalwork and charms), surface embellishment, art fabric, tangling and art jouranlling.

Rubber stamping, Melt Encaustic art, Printmaking with our GelliPad and creating monotypes, monoprints, collage colle, relief prints and trying our hand at serigraphs.

And finally, if we don't offer it, suggest it.

This month, June, we are discussing the general topic of Fiber: painting, embellishing, dyeing or sewing it. So come in and show off your work. Brag a bit or ask for help whichever you need now, our group tries to rise to the task.
