Description

If you've been hooked on pottery for years or are just discovering its joys, you're welcome here. If you're loaded with curiosity and a sense of humor and know how to work and play well with others, join us. Interests range from American art pottery from McCoy to Rookwood as well as European and Oriental ceramics. While most messages are about identifying items, we also like big ideas such as "What is art pottery anyway?"

Although we do have a few working potters in the group, we focus more on collecting, buying, and selling than the "how-to" matters, even though those are fascinating as well.

Dear Cameron, Some of the very early Nemadji had colors like your bowl. Also there is a vase shown on the cover of the "Collector's Encyclopedia of Rosemeade

Re: painted bowl
That's a possibility. The color is definitely thicker than Nemaji. I sent the pics to a guy who has a website all about Ozark Skag. Maybe he can tell for sure.
