Art groups generally place political, religious and other social commentary in the OFF TOPIC category. Life is not compartmentalized in this way, but for the sake of making more effective use of one's time or avoiding "the things that get me annoyed," we find such tunnel vision useful.
This group is intended to respond to those artists who would like to carry the discussion about art into social commentary. Of course, respect, decency and honesty still reign in these discussions.
Also, from time to time, if rants get out of hand, I will impose the moderator's ban to cool off the discussant so that conversation and not chants will define the character of this group.
