Arthur Louis Joquel II, was a world citizen, teacher, sci fi author, publisher, anthropologist, peace advocate, journalist, book editor, expert in Elizabethan theater and sword play, Aikido and Judo. He once told me he that he stood on the shoulders of giants. Manly Palmer Hall was his first spiritual guru at the Philosophical Research Center in Los Angeles where Art served as his librarian.

I had the pleasure of being one of his students in high school and community colleges. He was my editor at Grolier, Inc. and my spiritual guru as well as a precious friend for 15 years. His wisdom has inspired the creation of the PeaceClinic, a grassroots nonprofit. www.thepeaceclinic.org
