As a collective of creatives, we have a chance to do more for the global good than just swaps and artistic encouragement. There is also potential for art to create global change, one act at a time. It is to those creatives, globally, that I reach out.

We have all been touched by tragedies in one form or another throughout our lives. Diseases ravage those we love, those we care for, and we are caught feeling helpless verging on hopeless. It is those experiences that we should draw strength from and move out into the world armed with hope, compassion, understanding and encouragement for others who might be dealing with similar issues or who have loved ones who fight daily.

Every action, every inaction, sets off a ripple into the world around us. To think that what we do, say, and express does not affect others is an illusion. We are all connected and if one person can make a difference then a collective can create major change. It is with that intent that I've formed Art for Cures.

Think Globally. Act with Compassion.
