I am wondering why did Art never drew the top half and if he did where is
it?  Is there anyway that someone can contact him and ask for hime to draw

DON DUGA - Legendary Rankin / Bass Animation Artist

Don Duga has been at the forefront of American Animation for more
than 40 years, having worked with some of the most prestigious
Animation Studios in the world. He is a versatile animator, director
and producer. His work includes but, is not limited to, UPA and
RANKIN/BASS STUDIOS to commercials, SESAME STREET and feature films.
Don has storyboarded such classic characters as Mr. Magoo and
Underdog, and has worked on animated features such as " THE LAST
UNICORN," "MAD MONSTER PARTY," and "DAY DREAMER." The journey for
Don began in 1958, when he studied with mentor, Don Graham, at
California's Chouinard Art Institute. After finishing school, Don
took his talents to UPA Studios, but it was his time with
Rankin/Bass Studios where Don took part in projects like "Rudolph
the red-nosed Reindeer," "The Year without a Santa Claus," "Mad
Monster Party," "The Little Drummer Boy," and of course "Frosty the
Snowman." As a Storyboard artist at Rankin/Bass Studios, Don
specialized in laying out the essential frame work for the various
film projects. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s Don worked animating
Commercials for various national companies. A relationship with
Hostess Foods proved to be a large success for Don where he designed
and brought to life such memorable characters as Twinkie the Kid,
Captain Cupcake, King Ding Dong, and Fruit Pie the Magician. Duga's
own animation company, POLESTAR, won numerous awards, including the
prestigious CARNEGIE MEDAL for Best Children's film of the year and
the ASIFA EAST AWARD for his work on "OWEN," which was narrated by
Sarah Jessica Parker.

I am relatively new to the posting page. I've been a long time A.
Adams fan. My favorite X-issues are the New Mutants Special and X-men
Annual 9. I am always looking for the original art to the Loki/
Storm/ Chrysalis page where Loki first captures Storm and transforms
Storm into her new Thundergoddess outfit. Anybody have this page, or
know who may have this page? It is my all-time Grail piece. I would
be interested in either buying, or trading, with anyone who may have
it. Another page comes to mind, it is the opening page in X-Annual
9 "There's No Place Like Home", where Loki exclaims "Magnificent!"
re: Storm in Mohawk/ Morlock outfit, brandishing a sword.

I would also be interested if anyone has any pages from the 2 books.
If so please contact me.

I got the chance to meet Art at Wondercon and what a nice man he was!
I may ask him to do a commission. Does anyone have any experience
asking Art re: this? If so, I need tips, lol! I heard that there was
a 2-3 year waiting list, though. And sigh, he didn't have any of his
older work, which I so admire (Guess I'm dating myself, lol!)

Yeah they are spammers.  I get them on all my Yahoo groups...all with the same
subject line.  It usually links to a dead Geocities or Tripod page.

Hi guys, I'm a new member..... and have been a fan of Art Adams art
for some time.  I've been out of the loop for a while.... kids and
family take a lot of my time.  You know the drill.

Anyways... back when I worked in a comic shop (84-88) I went to
the '87 Chicago ComicCon and was first in line for several
signatures from the master.

Along the way I bought a page from Longshot #1 and have no idea
what the current value is.  Anybody have any clues?????

The strange thing is it's got page 16 listed on the top border
(out of print range)... and page 12 shown in the bottom right
panel.

This is the scene where Longshot first uses his powers to read
the little girls dolls past.

YES! The Scarlet Street issue with the article with Art (#48) is

purchase from finer newsstands everywhere! The issue was delayed due
to a complete computer crash at the SS offices (which necessitated
almost a complete reworking of the ish from scratch, hence the later
