As a mother of 3 sons who joined the Army, it helped to talk to a friend who'd "been there".
My sons (left to right) were in 2nd ACR (Fort Polk, LA) - 82nd Airborne (Fort Bragg, NC) and 101st Air Assault (Fort Campbell, KY). Now all three of my sons are disabled veterans.
So if any "new" moms want to ask questions of "experienced" moms, now is your chance. Coping, mailing packages, sending food, whatever the question we will try to answer it for you.

12/25/09 -- My youngest son is now helping to approve members and watch for misuse of the site.
