Karls (AI4PJ) message below. If you can send the HF operating
frequencies and all the Internet stuff. we have it all here you name we
got it so lets see what and how we can make this year even better.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Please be advised that we have been approved for use of the “Big
Springs” park in downtown Huntsville for our (ARMAD) Amateur Radio
Military Appreciation Day celebration. Thank you Mr. Carlton Brooks for
using your influence to secure the park and gazebo with the fee waiver.
This will be great practice for the Alabama QSO Party which is June and
for FIELD DAY in July. We plan to run 3 radios, 2 HF and 1 repeater
based radio for Asterisk (Wills’ baby).
When: Saturday 23 May 2009 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (please come early to
help string antennas in the trees) Where: Big Springs Park
Gazebo…directly across from the Holiday Inn downtown Huntsville.
Please email me your intent to attend and participate. We will have to
get together and pitch in for food, but I’m sure that Mr. Hill can get
the barbecue for us now. Come out and let’s operate on behalf of the
troops and first responders!
