i stop by the 'ale wife nest' for a few minutes every time i go to "mount auburn" to fill the feeders.i caught a photo of 'ruby'who has laid her eggs and raised her chicks there for the past two years. she was dropping a vine on a very rough looking nest?
evidently ruby and buz have been under attack from a much swifter pair of falcons who live on the 'ringe towers' and dont want the red tails in the area. they are hindering the nest rebuilding.
so much for peacefull co existance between the species.
