Birds as Dinosaurs
Richard is the William Robertson Coe Professor of Ornithology, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Curator of Ornitholgy at the Peabody Museum of Natural History, Yale University. His recent research has focused on the development and evolution of feathers, of structural coloration, and evolutionary relationship on behavior of birds with multiple wives. He has written recently in the prestigious journal Science that "...the recognition that birds are theropod dinosaurs has redefined the science of ornithology..."
