Since I'm the Chief around here, we are going to go by my definition of "Law Enforcement Officer". And that is: anyone (full time, part time or volunteer) who has been certified by ALETA or other Arkansas Police Academy as a certified policeman/woman.
Or, anyone that is authorized to wear a badge, carry a gun and arrest people in Arkansas.
Part Time II certification does qualify.
State Parole Officers qualify.
Federal LE jobs can qualify.
Military Police can qualify (DD 214 must verify if discharged).
AND MANY MORE.
Civillian Office Staff does not qualify (unless they meet the requirements above).

Please be advised: the Arkansas Off Duty Webmaster, Darrell Hendrix and his assistant, Dawn have access to this site. They know this site is for police eyes only and they will only cruise through if needed for a technical difficulty crisis.

Unlike a lot of agencies and governments, i do not operate on the "good ole' boy" program. As such, you will not find my non-police friends here. I love 'em. However, they simply have not earned the right to be here. So, if you KNOW you don't qualify; please don't try to sign up.
