The Arete Classical Study Program is a free classical study reading program for adults who are interested in reading through the 'great books' of Western Civilization. This group will explore the wonders of history, art, music, literature and philosophy through a biblical worldview.

The goal of this study group is self-education through a scheduled and consecutive reading of some of the best/living books available. The book list is culled from several notable sources including St. John's College, Mortimer Adler's Great Ideas list, and the index at Great Books and Classics (online repository).

All books are readily available online as html/etext, through your public library system, or as part of a variety of great books collections. Inexpensive editions are also available through a variety of booksellers.
