The purpose of this group is to discuss the application of proven or emerging technologies to enhance the capabilities provided by ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services).

Some discussion topics would incude, high or low speed packet, Wifi, WiMax, VOIP including but not limited to(echolink/irlp), repeater networking, Winlink, ALE, GPS, APRS, and many others...

The membership base should be comprised primarily of AEC's that are responsible for Technology. Other portential members are EC's, SEC's, DEC's, AEC's, etc.

All new members will need to be verified.
