Welcome to the Ardmore Freecycle Network serving the area around Ardmore, Oklahoma. This is a way to get rid of your extra stuff that is too good to throw out, or to find something you might need.

FREECYCLE RULES and ETIQUETTE

1) NO POLITICS and NO SPAM. Two strikes and you're out for regular members; Commercial spammers and flamers will have their accounts deleted immediately. Limit post to the item only, no explanation is needed.

2) SUBJECT LINE. Use these phrases ONLY:
OFFER: old couch [location]
TAKEN: old couch [location]
WANTED: old couch [location]
ADMIN: New Idea.

3) CAN WE USE FREECYCLE TO FIND NEW HOMES FOR PETS? Yes, but please keep it legal and be lovingly careful.

4) KEEP IT FREE.

5) NO TRADING PLEASE. If you want to sell or trade something take a look at the Ardmore Cheapcycle site. It's also on Yahoo.

6) FYI: RESPONSES GO ONLY TO OFFERER. It keeps down the sheer # of e-mails.

7) PICK UP. arrange as you like, generally, 1st responded, 1st served. If a charity responds, you may want to give them a 1st shot.

8) ACCEPTABLE POSTS - the acid test is "Will this post keep something out of the landfill?" If so it not it is likely to be deleted. Nothing personal and no hurt feelings, but the purpose of this site is to reduce our throw-aways.
