This week's (Wed. July 16th)orienteering event is a dogbone orienteering with an optional white course for participants less interested in getting dogbones.

The map will show pairs of controls linked by a line (a dogbone).
You can pick any dogbone at any time in any order, however, if you started on a bone you then must go to the other control on the bone before you can continue to the next bone. For example:

1A O-----------O  1B
 then
3 B O-----------O 3 A
then
5 A O-----------O 5 B

You have to collect ALL dogbones. Since you need to pick your own route this event helps you practice reading ahead.

This dogbone event is a MASS START. Start is at 6 p.m.

Participants of the white course can start between 6p.m. and 7p.m.
