The Arctic Orienteering Club, based in Anchorage, Alaska, sponsors approximately 20 orienteering events in Southcentral Alaska from May through September, including training, fun events, and competitive meets. All events are open to anyone and virtually all events are appropriate for newcomers. We use this list to broadcast announcements about club activities. It and our web page at www.oalaska.org are our primary means of keeping in touch. Orienteering is the sport of cross country navigation using map and compass. The Arctic Orienteering Club (ARCT) is a sanctioned club of the United States Orienteering Federation (USOF).
