Using astrology as a template, we will discuss the natural up/down "sine wave" journey of the soul process. Rather than pathologizing emotional descent as "depression," we will embrace the descent as an opportunity to receive guidance from the depths of our being.

Michael Hawkins is a certified Jungian Archetypal Therapist with 12 years experience in samatha satipatthana meditation. Extensive study and practice in Advaita Vedanta, Dzogchen, Taoism, Theravada and other non-dual traditions has allowed Michael to challenge conditioned beliefs and surrender to life's natural unfoldment. While maintaining a daily contemplative practice, he continues a private divination practice, leads meditation during contemplative writing retreats in the Rocky Mountains, and increasingly sees life as an opportunity to have fun.
