Thank you for the update, Chitra. I will try to find someone who can assist in the transport of the dogs. I hope to see the participation of more members in this event. Guys, we REALLY need the help!!! Monique, Chitra and Marianna can't be the only ones working like this! Let's all try our best to lend a hand. Rememer, we're doing this for the animals!!!
Also, I would like to remind everyone about the payment of monthly fees: remember that it's just $20.00 per month and all fees go toward funding the spaying events and the vet bills. Guys, those fees really come in handy! Please e-mail Monique to find out the procedure for paying fees. (I do not know the new procedure as she has been moved to work in the Principal's office).
Thank you,
Ria Rodriguez

Hi Everyone,
We are currently trying to spay at lest 4 dogs on campus. In order to achieve this goal, what we require are some temporary homes to hold them for at least 2 weeks (or at least 10 days) after the spaying. This needs to be done so that their stitches can heal.
If anyone is locted far from UWI we are also requesting the help of someone with a truck or van to help transport the dogs to and from PetMed veterinary clinic. It would be a great help if by next week we could get some feedbak about this request. After we get this information we can organize to spay the dogs on specific days, thereby making it convenint for the dogs to be picked up directly after being spayed.
The dogs being to be spayed are:
The black and white furry dog (from the pack).
The completely black (slim) dog that hangs around natsci.
the 2 brown and white dogs that had pups last semester.
we alredy spayed the little "pig dog" that sleeps in front of the library.
wow we really need to give them names...
Thanks for your support and enjoy the holidays!
Chitra.
