Pauline Epistle 1Corinthians 5:9-end ; 1Corinthians 6:1-5 [Arabic]
I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner--not even to eat with such a person.

For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore "put away from yourselves the evil person." Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge? I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren?
Catholic Epistle 1Peter 1:3-12 [Arabic]
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls.

Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven--things which angels desire to look into.
Acts Acts 17:10-14 [Arabic]
Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. Therefore many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men. But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that the word of God was preached by Paul at Berea, they came there also and stirred up the crowds. Then immediately the brethren sent Paul away, to go to the sea; but both Silas and Timothy remained there.
Synaxarium • The Departure of St. Maruta (Maruthas) the Bishop.
Psalm Psalm 32:5 [Arabic]
I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,"
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin.
Gospel Luke 11:33-36 [Arabic]
"No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light. The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light."

THE LONELY EMBER
A member of a certain church, who previously had been attending services
regularly, stopped going. After a few weeks, the pastor decided to visit
him. It was a chilly evening. The pastor found the man at home alone,
sitting before a blazing fire. Guessing the reason for his pastor's
visit, the man welcomed him, led him to a big chair near the fireplace
and waited. The pastor made himself comfortable but said nothing. In the
grave silence, he contemplated the play of the flames around the burning
logs. After some minutes, the pastor took the fire tongs, carefully
picked up a brightly burning ember and placed it to one side of the
hearth all alone. Then he sat back in his chair, still silent. The host
watched all this in quiet fascination. As the one lone ember's flame
diminished, there was a momentary glow and then its fire was no more.
Soon it was cold and "dead as a doornail." Not a word had been spoken
since the initial greeting. Just before the pastor was ready to leave,
he picked up the cold, dead ember and placed it back in the middle of
the fire. Immediately it began to glow once more with the light and
warmth of the burning coals around it. As the pastor reached the door to
leave, his host said, "Thank you so much for your visit and especially
for the fiery sermon. I shall be back in church next Sunday."

I Never Knew
While in a large East Coast city on business Dan had spent the evening drinking in the hotel bar.  Having sworn that this trip would be different, he was feeling pretty disgusted with himself the next morning.  He decided a long walk might clear his head and his mood, so he struck out and soon found himself on a narrow residential street.  The houses were small but clean and well kept, and Dan sensed that he'd chosen a good direction.
About halfway down the block an elderly gentleman looked up from his chore of raking leaves and greeting Dan warmly.  "Good morning to you," he smiled. "Looks like the Lord has put together another beautiful day, doesn't it?"

"I guess," Dan shrugged, staring down at his shoes.
The old man looked at Dan's bleary eyes and rumpled clothes. "You know, son, Jesus Christ could make this the best day of your life if you'll let Him."  He reached into his pocket and handed Dan a small tract.  "Why don't you look this over and stop by and see me again?"

Dan half-heartedly thanked his benefactor, stuck the tract into his jacket pocket and went on his way.  He didn't read the tract, but somehow he never quite managed to throw it away.  A year later, on another business trip, Dan found himself frantically pacing his hotel room.  He was at the end of his rope spiritually, financially, emotionally, and physically.

By habit he threw on his jacket and started for the door. But as he shoved one hand into the pocket, that persistent little tract touched his fingers.  He pulled it out, went to his bed and read through its entirety.  He opened his nightstand and found his room's Gideon Bible and carefully researched the verses the tract had referenced. He fell to his knees and, at that very moment, ended his old life and began a brand new one in Christ.

The following years of Dan's life were a whirlwind of joy and struggle.  He became a minister of the Gospel and was invited to city after city, country after country to share his love for the Lord and the miraculous way in which the Lord had changed him.  Time after time as Dan shared his message people would come to him and say, "That's amazing!  You know, I was in that same city, took a wrong turn, and stopped in front of a house to ask directions.  An old man was working in a flower bed and he gave me a Gospel tract."
Each story was different, and yet each story told how people from all over the globe, people who had for many different reasons come to that city, had found themselves drawn to a narrow residential street where an old man worked in his yard.
Some time later Dan returned to the city where his new life had begun.  But this time he was there to preach a revival in a local church.  Remembering the old man who had given him the tract he made his way to the tiny white house.  Seeing no one outside, he knocked on the door.  A slow shuffle of feet could be heard, and finally the door cracked open.

"Sir, you probably don't remember me," Dan began, "but you gave me a Gospel tract several years ago and I wanted you to know that it's because of your faithful witness that I now stand here as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
The old man swung the door open wide, revealing a metal walker before his bent and feeble body.  "Come in, come in,"he told Dan as the tears streamed down both their faces. Dan followed him into a tiny living room.
"Praise God!  Praise God!" the elderly gentleman's voice shook with age and emotion.  "All these years I wondered if I was making a difference.  You see, my wife - she's gone now, God rest her soul - was an invalid and I couldn't get out except to work in the yard.  For her last eighteen years I had to be here all the time, so I prayed every day for the Lord to send me people who needed to hear the Word.  What a blessing to know about you, son."

"Oh, sir," Dan told him, moving to his side and taking his hand, "I've heard about you all over the world."  And as Dan told of the many people who'd come to know the Lord through the witness of this silver-haired believer, the man wept uncontrollably.

"Thank you, Jesus," the faithful old witness kept repeating. "I never knew.  I just wanted to be faithful to my Lord."

DAILY GOSPEL
«Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.» John 6,68

Tuesday, 02 March 2004

Book of Isaiah 55,10-11.

For just as from the heavens the rain and snow come down And do not return there till they have watered the earth, making it fertile and fruitful, Giving seed to him who sows and bread to him who eats, So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; It shall not return to me void, but shall do my will, achieving the end for which I sent it.

Psalms 34,4-7.16-19.

Magnify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.
I sought the LORD, who answered me, delivered me from all my fears.
Look to God that you may be radiant with joy and your faces may not blush for shame.
In my misfortune I called, the LORD heard and saved me from all distress.
The LORD has eyes for the just and ears for their cry.
The LORD'S face is against evildoers to wipe out their memory from the earth.
When the just cry out, the LORD hears and rescues them from all distress.
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted, saves those whose spirit is crushed.

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 6,7-15.

In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him. This is how you are to pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and do not subject us to the final test, but deliver us from the evil one. If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.

"Do not grieve or complain that you were born in a time when you can no longer
see God in the flesh. He did not in fact take this privilege from you. As he
says, 'Whatever you have done to the least of my brothers, you did to me'"

The Bible reading for the 23rd of Amshier, March 2nd, is:
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you
are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall
make you free." 33 They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants, and have
never been in bondage to anyone. How can you say, 'You will be made free'?" 34
Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a
slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son
abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free
indeed. 37 "I know that you are Abraham's descendants, but you seek to kill Me,
because My word has no place in you.
38 I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with

Pauline Epistle Romans 4:1-8 [Arabic]
What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.

But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:
"Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven,
        And whose sins are covered;
Blessed is the man to whom the LORD shall not impute sin."
Catholic Epistle 1John 2:1-11 [Arabic]
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.

He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
Acts Acts 27:9-12 [Arabic]
Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because the Fast was already over, Paul advised them, saying, "Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives." Nevertheless the centurion was more persuaded by the helmsman and the owner of the ship than by the things spoken by Paul. And because the harbor was not suitable to winter in, the majority advised to set sail from there also, if by any means they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete opening toward the southwest and northwest, and winter there.
Synaxarium • The Martyrdom of St. Eusebius, Son of Basilides, the Minister.
Psalm Psalm 32:2-3 [Arabic]
Blessed is the man
whose sin the LORD does not count against him
and in whose spirit is no deceit.

When I kept silent,
my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long.
Gospel John 8:31-39 [Arabic]
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, "You will be made free'?"

Somebody wrote this about the passion of the christ....but he haven't seen it yet...

I'm thrilled that there is a movie out that is causing people to at least talk
about Christ and His crucifixion. Some are for the movie and some opposed, but
people are seeing it in droves and that's leaving a great spiritual vacuum which
needs to be filled. For the moment it's "cool" to talk about the Christ.

Given the opportunity to talk about the Passion, take it and share Jesus.

If the movie helps one person better understand what Jesus did to offer each of
us freedom, it will have been worth everything they invested into the movie.
There is nothing on earth as precious in God's eyes as a person turning to Him
for the first time, or turning back to Him.

What Jesus did for you and I is beyond our comprehension. If the movie helps us
comprehend it a little more it will be worth it. Everything that happened to Him
during those few hours in 33 AD He endured willingly. He is God and could have
put a stop to it all before it ever happened. The one thing that kept Him from
stopping it was His love for us.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for
the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good
man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for
us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8-10 NIV

He did that for you. He did that for me. He did that for anyone who would accept
the gift of His life.
It's free, but it isn't a cheap gift. It was paid for at a horrific price. The
blood of Christ bought it. The blood of the martyrs carried it forward to us.
The finances, time and resources of untold believers, famous and unknown testify
to it. All that's required is that you accept it. Don't let all they've done for
you go to waste.

Until next time, if you already know Jesus, rejoice in His great love and share
the reason for your hope and joy with someone who doesn't know. If you don't,
open your heart to that love.

Hallelu Yah (Praise God)
Be blessed

{ النبـوات }

P.S. I need someone to help me to translate those words because i really don't have much time to translate them, so I’ll send them anyway and i know that someone will definitely help!!!

God Bless you all

Prophecies

Proverbs 2:1-15

2:1 My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; 7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; 8 He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints. 9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path. 10 When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul, 11 Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you, 12 To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things, 13 From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness; 14 Who rejoice in doing evil, And delight in the perversity of the wicked; 15 Whose ways are crooked, And who are devious in their paths;.     Glory be to the Holy Trinity. Amen

Isaiah 10:12-20

12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Lord has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say, I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks. 13 For he says: By the strength of my hand I have done it, And by my wisdom, for I am prudent; Also I have removed the boundaries of the people, And have robbed their treasuries; So I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man. 14 My hand has found like a nest the riches of the people, And as one gathers eggs that are left, I have gathered all the earth; And there was no one who moved his wing, Nor opened his mouth with even a peep. 15 Shall the ax boast itself against him who chops with it? Or shall the saw exalt itself against him who saws with it? As if a rod could wield itself against those who lift it up, Or as if a staff could lift up, as if it were not wood! 16 Therefore the Lord, the Lord of hosts, Will send leanness among his fat ones; And under his glory He will kindle a burning Like the burning of a fire. 17 So the Light of Israel will be for a fire, And his Holy One for a flame; It will burn and devour His thorns and his briers in one day. 18 And it will consume the glory of his forest and of his fruitful field, Both soul and body; And they will be as when a sick man wastes away. 19 Then the rest of the trees of his forest Will be so few in number That a child may write them. 20 And it shall come to pass in that day That the remnant of Israel, And such as have escaped of the house of Jacob, Will never again depend on him who defeated them, But will depend on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.     Glory be to the Holy Trinity. Amen

Joshua 7:1-26

7:1 But the children of Israel committed a trespass regarding the accursed things, for Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed things; so the anger of the Lord burned against the children of Israel. 2 Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Beth Aven, on the east side of Bethel, and spoke to them, saying, Go up and spy out the country. So the men went up and spied out Ai. 3 And they returned to Joshua and said to him, Do not let all the people go up, but let about two or three thousand men go up and attack Ai. Do not weary all the people there, for the people of Ai are few. 4 So about three thousand men went up there from the people, but they fled before the men of Ai. 5 And the men of Ai struck down about thirty-six men, for they chased them from before the gate as far as Shebarim, and struck them down on the descent; therefore the hearts of the people melted and became like water. 6 Then Joshua tore his clothes, and fell to the earth on his face before the ark of the Lord until evening, he and the elders of Israel; and they put dust on their heads. 7 And Joshua said, Alas, Lord God, why have You brought this people over the Jordan at all--to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? Oh, that we had been content, and dwelt on the other side of the Jordan! 8 O Lord, what shall I say when Israel turns its back before its enemies? 9 For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear it, and surround us, and cut off our name from the earth. Then what will You do for Your great name? 10 So the Lord said to Joshua: Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face? 11 Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff. 12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they have become doomed to destruction. Neither will I be with you anymore, unless you destroy the accursed from among you. 13 Get up, sanctify the people, and say, `Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, because thus says the Lord God of Israel: There is an accursed thing in your midst, O Israel; you cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the accursed thing from among you. 14 `In the morning therefore you shall be brought according to your tribes. And it shall be that the tribe which the Lord takes shall come according to families; and the family which the Lord takes shall come by households; and the household which the Lord takes shall come man by man. 15 `Then it shall be that he who is taken with the accursed thing shall be burned with fire, he and all that he has, because he has transgressed the covenant of the Lord, and because he has done a disgraceful thing in Israel.' 16 So Joshua rose early in the morning and brought Israel by their tribes, and the tribe of Judah was taken. 17 He brought the clan of Judah, and he took the family of the Zarhites; and he brought the family of the Zarhites man by man, and Zabdi was taken. 18 Then he brought his household man by man, and Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was taken. 19 Now Joshua said to Achan, My son, I beg you, give glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession to Him, and tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me. 20 And Achan answered Joshua and said, Indeed I have sinned against the Lord God of Israel, and this is what I have done: 21 When I saw among the spoils a beautiful Babylonian garment, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. And there they are, hidden in the earth in the midst of my tent, with the silver under it. 22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent; and there it was, hidden in his tent, with the silver under it. 23 And they took them from the midst of the tent, brought them to Joshua and to all the children of Israel, and laid them out before the Lord. 24 Then Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, the silver, the garment, the wedge of gold, his sons, his daughters, his oxen, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent, and all that he had, and they brought them to the Valley of Achor. 25 And Joshua said, Why have you troubled us? The Lord will trouble you this day. So all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones. 26 Then they raised over him a great heap of stones, still there to this day. So the Lord turned from the fierceness of His anger. Therefore the name of that place has been called the Valley of Achor to this day.     Glory be to the Holy Trinity. Amen

Vespers Psalm

Psalms 32:10

10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.     Alleluia

Vespers Gospel

Luke 12:54-59

54 Then He also said to the multitudes, Whenever you see a cloud rising out of the west, immediately you say, `A shower is coming'; and so it is. 55 And when you see the south wind blow, you say, `There will be hot weather'; and there is. 56 Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky and of the earth, but how is it you do not discern this time? 57 Yes, and why, even of yourselves, do you not judge what is right? 58 When you go with your adversary to the magistrate, make every effort along the way to settle with him, lest he drag you to the judge, the judge deliver you to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison. 59 I tell you, you shall not depart from there till you have paid the very last mite.     Glory is due to our God to the age of all ages. Amen

Liturgy

Pauline Epistle

Romans 4:1-8

4:1 What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. 5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, 6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works: 7 Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered; 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.     The Grace of God the Father be with you all. Amen

Catholic Epistle

1 John 2:1-11

2:1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. 3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, I know Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 7 Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. 8 Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining. 9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. 10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. 11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.     Do not love the world, nor the things which are in the world. The world shall pass away and all its desires; but he who does the will of God shall abide forever. Amen

The Acts of the Apostles

Acts 27:9-12

9 Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because the Fast was already over, Paul advised them, 10 saying, Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives. 11 Nevertheless the centurion was more persuaded by the helmsman and the owner of the ship than by the things spoken by Paul. 12 And because the harbor was not suitable to winter in, the majority advised to set sail from there also, if by any means they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete opening toward the southwest and northwest, and winter there.     The word of the Lord shall grow, multiply, be mighty and be confirmed in the holy church of God. Amen

Liturgy Psalm

Psalms 32:2-3

2 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit. 3 When I kept silent, my bones grew old.     Alleluia

Liturgy Gospel

John 8:31-39

31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33 They answered Him, We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can you say, `You will be made free'? 34 Jesus answered them, Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. 37 I know that you are Abraham's descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. 38 I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father. 39 They answered and said to Him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said to them, If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham.     Glory is due to our God to the age of all ages. Amen

Somebody wrote this about the passion of the christ....but he haven't seen
it yet...

I'm thrilled that there is a movie out that is causing people to at least
talk
about Christ and His crucifixion. Some are for the movie and some opposed,
but
people are seeing it in droves and that's leaving a great spiritual vacuum
which
needs to be filled. For the moment it's "cool" to talk about the Christ.

Given the opportunity to talk about the Passion, take it and share Jesus.

If the movie helps one person better understand what Jesus did to offer each
of
us freedom, it will have been worth everything they invested into the movie.
There is nothing on earth as precious in God's eyes as a person turning to
Him
for the first time, or turning back to Him.

What Jesus did for you and I is beyond our comprehension. If the movie helps
us
comprehend it a little more it will be worth it. Everything that happened to
Him
during those few hours in 33 AD He endured willingly. He is God and could
have
put a stop to it all before it ever happened. The one thing that kept Him
from
stopping it was His love for us.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died
for
the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a
good
man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love
for
us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8-10
NIV

He did that for you. He did that for me. He did that for anyone who would
accept
the gift of His life.
It's free, but it isn't a cheap gift. It was paid for at a horrific price.
The
blood of Christ bought it. The blood of the martyrs carried it forward to
us.
The finances, time and resources of untold believers, famous and unknown
testify
to it. All that's required is that you accept it. Don't let all they've done
for
you go to waste.

Until next time, if you already know Jesus, rejoice in His great love and
share
the reason for your hope and joy with someone who doesn't know. If you
don't,
open your heart to that love.

Hallelu Yah (Praise God)
Be blessed
