Welcome to A Psychiatric Survivor's Soapbox, formerly known as Alternative Therapies for the Disabled. This newsletter is a reflection of one consumer survivor's own efforts to advocate for people with physical and psychiatric (mental illness) disabilities.
The underlaying message within will always be that of continued advocacy for services that assist individuals with disabilities in living a full life laden with quality CHOICES. The hopes are that the enclosed meanderings in turn point inquiring surfers to resources that help them in their own advocacy / self-advocacy efforts in Georgia, the United States, and even internationally.
I look forward to crossing cyber paths with you all in the future as we work in UNITY to right some of those very serious wrongs that continue to occur each and every day in spite of all the knowledge that sits so readily at our very Fingertips.
Peace, Love, Hope, and Social Justice for Us *ALL*..
