I downloaded from that link, ran the .EXE on my Windows 7 machine and it
sync'd right over to my WinMo 6.5 Tilt 2 and fired right up. It's not a
Windows Phone 7 (there is no such thing as WinMo 7) app, but a Windows
Mobile app as advertised. Looks just like what I was running on my
WinMo 6.1 Tilt.

Yes. You need to click - Menu. Then check - Keep System Alive. Works great for me. Everything stays running, wifi, gps, etc. It just turns the backlight off....
