The purpose of this community group is to provide attachment oriented parents with the ability to find support, connect with other like minded parents, build friendships for themselves and their children, and to help them continue to remain attachment oriented as the years pass.
Attachment Parenting is a philosophy based in the practice of nurturing parenting practices that create strong emotional bonds, also known as secure attachment, between the infant and parent(s). This style of parenting encourages responsiveness to the infant or child's emotional needs, and develops trust that their emotional needs will be met. As a result, this strong attachment helps the child develop secure, empathic, peaceful, and enduring relationships. To find out more please visit www.attachmentparenting.org.
We meet every third Tuesday, every fourth Saturday for a book club discussion, and we hold a conference call once a month. For more meeting information please visit us at www.apiofnfga.org.
We provide many opportunities for support such as playgroups, MOMS Events, family fun events, and providing to families in our community when in need.
