ANZAGL is the original list for Girl Guide Leaders in Australia and New Zealand. It was started in 1997 and moved to Yahoo in 2003. It is a closed list, set up as a forum to allow us to share our common heritage, experiences, cultures, and similar Guiding programmes.
Australian and New Zealand leaders of all age groups, experience, and areas of interest subscribe to ANZAGL. Any form of participation in this list is fine, but in general the more you get involved the more useful the list becomes.
Applications to join ANZAGL are not automatically accepted unless the applicant is an Australian or a New Zealander. If you are 'Guiding' or 'Girl Scouting' in another country please respect our wish to keep the list to a manageable size and search for more relevant lists, either within your own country, or among the general guiding / girl scouting lists that exist. We do occasionally accept non-Australasian WAGGGS members if the people applying have a special reason for wishing to join. Such applications are considered on a case by case basis.
Please note: This list is maintained as an independent forum - not affiliated with either Guides Australia or GirlGuiding New Zealand.
ANZAGL stands for "All New Zealand / Australian Guide Leaders".
