The Antique Pattern Library is an ongoing project to scan antique needlework books and make them available on the internet, for free. These are books with crochet, knitting, needle lace, embroidery, tatting, beading and other patterns that are in the public domain, but only rarely available at public libraries. The current location of the booklist, with links to download the books, is at http://www.antiquepatternlibrary.org. Access to the links to get to the scanned books changes from time to time, depending on who has time and website space to maintain the list. The purpose of this Yahoo group is to provide a place for volunteers and donors to contact library organizers, and to send out a newsletter when we add new titles.
