Description

AntiCult is a place to discuss various issues around religion, particularly as they revolve around the (mostly "Christian") anti-cult movement. Christians, skeptics and students of rhetoric and social science are especially encouraged to gripe and discuss how terms such as "religion," "cult," "new religious movement" and "brainwashing" are used or misused for interesting purposes. My initial vision in 2007 is for something similar to Rick Ross' "Cult Education Forum" but less focussed on the interests, finances and opinions of one person.
