... Sorry, it does seem to be a per-document thing. Instead of deleting styles, if you make sure each style has the indeterminate setting for Strikethrough

Hmm. When I opened another file and exported it, I had the strikethrough problem again. Apparently, I'm going to have to go through the process you described

Well, it partly worked. I followed your directions, and what I got was an .odt file in which the "SL" labeled styles were fine: SL Header, SL Title, etc.
