Subject: Halloween Costume Contest

The Rogue's Den, Cosplay Crack Crew and Delaware Anime
Fans are having a Halloween Costume Contest on
Saturday, October 29 at 7pm. The event will take place
at the Rogue's Den and there will be a $2 entry fee
for the cosplay contest contestants to cover prizes.
Costumes must be tasteful (no nudity) and all ages are
welcome. Home made costumes are encouraged for judging
purposes, but show up in your best. Be sure to show up
early for DDR, horror flicks and free treat bags.

I just wanted to add, Delaware Anime Fans will be
having an anime auction 11/12/05, 5pm at the Rogue's
Den during our monthly meeting. Members and non
members can bid on anime items such as manga, dvds,
vhs, wall scrolls and win them for cheap! If you have
any items you'd like to donate to the club for this
event, you can do so at the monthly meeting or during
the Halloween Costume Contest 10/29/05 at 7pm, the

OMG! EMERGENCY!!!!

   We were listening to Japan-A-Radio and we heard that
they are going
to get shut down unless they can get enough donations
to keep them
going. We (the community at large) cannot let them get
shut down. They
figured it would be about $5 from 600 people will keep
them going. It is
just $5. That is less than a Starbucks drink.

   We at Otakus Anonymous have already begun our
donation and plan on
getting more too to help them out. Please, everyone,
help them out!!!

   If we calculated the numbers properly, there should
be more than
enough people just from ACU to keep JAR open.

   We have until December 31, 2005 to help them out.

DAF is back up and running. Here's the meeting updates. Everyone's invited.

     Alien Nine (dvd)
     Lupin the 3rd vol 1 (manga)
     FLCL vol 1 and 2 (manga)
     China Cry (Live Action dvd)
     Arcadia of my Youth (dvd)
     Gunslinger Girl vol 1 (dvd)
     The Monkey King (book) 18+
     Weibs Cruiz 1 - An Assassin and White Shaman (books) (yoai)
     Weibs Cruiz 2 - An Assassin and White Shaman (books) (yoai)
     Underworld (dvd)
     La Blue Girl 2 (vhs) 18+
     Gundam Wing Tarot Cards
     The Clow Cards

     If you have more stuff, feel free to give it to us at the meeting.  Proceeds
help us buy stuff like Ramune which we hope get by next  meeting (since the
Neark Library allows snacks). All the money goes  back into the club as always.
We hope to raise enough money so that in  time we can buy a projector. That way
we'd be able to do viewings on  the big screen.
