Welcome to the members-only egroup of the Society for Animation Studies (animationstudies.org), an international organization dedicated to the study of animation in its many forms. Founded by Harvey Deneroff in the late 1980s, the SAS now has members across the world and holds conferences in various locations on an annual basis. The president of the society is Maureen Furniss, who is on the animation faculty at California Institute of the Arts. She can be contacted at mfurniss@calarts.edu .
