Hi All,
I will be visiting 19th June to 15th July from sunny Okinawa! Even
though you can count on one hand how many times I've climbed since
leaving, I would still love to meet up, do you still meet Thursday's
7pm at the Youth Center? Hope so!
Look forward to seeing you soon,
Licia
Austin Tx???
Good lord! I am in Del Rio...about 3 + hours away. Nothing nearby to climb,
would love to meet up some time to climb! My number is 830 - 719 - 5502.

Hey everyone,
It’s just Bryan S. I tried to access the site but couldn’t so I had to
become a new member. I hope everyone is doing great and climbing the
heck out some sweet English grit. Who’s climbing what? Are you guys
pushing limits? As for me I’m climbing when I can and it’s mostly
bouldering and sport. School and racing bicycles takes a lot of my
time but it’ll all be worth it…I hope. I wish everyone well.
Bryan
Hard to give it a good british grade, its a
bolted/chained/chipped/padlocked route!
I think the grade should be more rated on the "oh shit thats a long way
down, i hope the padlocks holding all this chain together are BSI
marked like pro! and I hope theres not a lock pick on this route!
(sustained)" scale.
I think I would definately give it a go though. Looks fun! Do you
think pof or chalk for this route???? :)
Good to hear from you John.

Wes and all,
I just posted a word document (split in 2 actually) in the files
section, of some photos of a 'climb' in China I thought the group might
like to look at. I had to split it into 2 files since it was larger
than 5.2MB Wes, of course remove them when you see fit. I listed this
as a British M just to get your attention. Do you think the quality
and craftmenship that went into this route add or subtract from how it
would be rated?
More later? - Fisher
Is there still open climb on Thursday? I went this week - Finished
with T-ball and Literature class - but no one knew if it was still
going on. I realize there was a power outage because of the storm,
but the workers said they hadn't heard anything about it. SO, I
thought I'd ask. I got my purse back and recovered my sport card for
UEA - if you guys still go there. My arms are starting to seem a
little flabby and I really miss climbing.
Is this still on? I can't believe how quickly July has rolled around.
I guess I'm out of the loop, I was talking to Steve tonight at T-ball
and we are both just curious if you are all heading out to the Peaks
and if families are invited.

Hey Steve nice to hear from you, call when ever you want to climb
infact can you phone me i have your camera!
Ok so here is the story on the helmet.....I had one that day but.
The walk in to the waterfall took us right behind and above it so
there was no decent path so we decided to rap down. With the words
of "I think the bottom of the rope is on the floor i got ready to
abseil in as i took my helmet out of the rucksack i put it down in
the snow(big mistake right there)only to see it fly of the edge
quicker than the english bobsleigh team.what happend to it after
that i dont know i spent ages looking for it and could not find it. -

The Front Range Freaks team have a new dvd out(new for the
uk) "Return2sender".good film Worth the purchase.
Return2Sender is the latest release from Peter Mortimer and Axolot!
Productions - creators of the multi award-winning Front Range Freaks
(2003). Mortimer and his cohorts return with an inspired filmic
collage featuring mind-blowing climbing and adventure footage from
around the globe.
Included in Return2Sender is the highly acclaimed segment
Parallelojams, hosted by legendary climber and comedian Timmy O'Neill.
Also featured: A First Ascent in Greenland, 10 year old Cicada
Jenerik, Mexico BASE jumping, Michael Reardon's SoCal soloing Spree,

A good networking site that might help ... I use it for school
friends, has better image section, info, and bulletin materials. Just
an idea to expand the climbing network...
We will be meeting at Tesco in Newmarket at 09:30 on sat morning to go
to the castle if any one wants to come.
