Hi there -

 

I have come across some amulets that are what I have been told 17th and 18th century...various shapes with an eyelet at the top.  The amulets have various drawings on them...christian drawings and verses in a language I am not familiar.

 

I also was told that they were used by monks and the like...attached to their rosaries and rubbed while in prayer.  Some of the amulets are very worn in the center.

 

I am just finding it odd that I can't find photos anywhere...I found one similar...in pages by an H. Gitler.

 

Does anyone have any idea what/where these amulets are/come from?
