We are amateur rocket scientists and welcome anyone interested in rocketry in its many forms. We are a Chapter of ARSA, the Amateur Rocketry Society of America. We host Freedom Launches in Central Texas.
We are not associated with either NAR or TRA although NAR and TRA members are always welcome as long as they follow the ARSA Safe Code.
At our Freedom Launches rockets of all sizes and shapes are flown with both commercial and homemade propellants. The only limits are set by the size of the field and the height of the FAA waiver.
No HPR certification or national association membership is required to fly any impulse rocket motor using any type of propellant as long as the flight is judged to be safe by the Range Safety Officer (RSO).
