It's everywhere. Why does Amma tolerate this so much. Lots of Lesbians
follow Amma is there some something going on ? Is going to India and
the ashram a way to convert not only to hinduism but also lesbianisn ?
Just curious and no disrespect intended ?
I am a gay woman and a serious devotee of Amma. It has been my
experience that Amma is not homophobic. Of course Amma is not
homophobic, she is the embodiment of pure love. To think otherwise is
to not understand why she is here. Ignorance is the crutch of those
trapped in the ego. Why not point out how many African American or
Asian people attend her programs and then ask why Amma tolerates
it...Why is Amma not a racist???
God is not a racist or a homophobe. Homophobia is some peoples way of
expressing the fear that revolves around something they don't
understand or something that doesn't appeal to them personally.
I am a gay woman who can vouch for the fact that Amma did arrange my
relationship...and blessed it....and loves us both no less than any
other devotee. Amma cares no more about what goes on in a gay persons
bedroom than she does about a straight persons. Celibacy is the goal,
whether gay or straight. There is no difference.

Well, I have not been to India or the ashram, so what's my excuse?
Jai Ma!
