Thank you Saints for praying for Vinny. The biopsy shows it is NOT cancer. The stitches were removed yesterday and other than being a little swollen on the top of his head he looks fine.
Please continue to pray for ROBIN. She just received a letter in the mail stating she will NOT get any more unemployment. Pray for work close to where she lives. She does not have a car and has to walk to and from work. She has applied everywhere and she is getting discouraged. She needs a job immediately. As we ALL PRAY and AGREE GOD will OPEN a DOOR for her to have a job in JESUS HOLY NAME.
Keep Jessica in prayer for her body to continue to heal itself from that terrible accident. Pray for the left side to respond to the brain so she can walk on her own again.
Pray for Sam and the pain in his back. It has to be a terrible thing to live in pain and the docs tell you they cannot do anything more for you, however, WE KNOW THE GREAT PHYSICIAN and GOD CAN HEAL SAM as we ALL AGREE IN PRAYER. Keep my sister and her husband in prayer. BOTH have severe back problems and pain. My brother has lukemia and other problems. My sister in law has severe arthiritis.
Keep my daughter covered in prayer. She is due to have a baby in August. Pray for a safe delivery and healthy baby.
Thank you ALL and MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU,
Sis Edie

Update
Thank you for the prayers. I am home now. It was a little harder than last time, and the anesthetic has made me sick, but I can see better already, and it gets better as time goes on. Tomorrow, I go back for a post-operative exam, then in 3 weeks will go for new glasses. I am going to be burning up the roads this month!!
Hold e-mail yet until Thursday, or when I let you know as it is really piling up from the devotionals I am getting and others things so I will have to clear some of them off before I can get back on with emailing others.
Take care. Love, Shirley.
P.S. By the way Annie has become famous because of the scars I have from her bites. When any one saw them they had to call everyone over to see. I was a bit embarrassed to say the least! ha. As for Annie, she better shape up as I am getting discouraged, but I love her and just consider I have a cat delinquent, or one with attention deficiency, except to my legs. ha. My water guns are well prepared, and set in various places ready for her to strike! I have an hour before I have to get ready to go for cataract surgery, so will send these on to you, since Kim said that she would be gone. Update on me is that my COPD is caused from pneumonia, not smoking, as my family Doctor had told me. My last bout with Pneumonia ten yeas ago left damage in my bronchial tubes and don't know the big long name for it, but continuous ant-biotic of a small dosage can keep it under some control. I go back the last of this month for a more extensive breathing test which takes 1 !/2 hours, and see Dr. Keim again in August. He is nice and explains every thing well. He gave me a lot more hope in handling this than any of the Doctors so far! Praise the Lord. Please pray that I don't have side-effects from the medicine that I will be taking starting after the effects of this medicine I am on now is over. The anti-biotic I am taking now, is in a 5 day dosage, however keeps on working for 10 days. Thanks for praying. (Also pray that my eye surgery today goes wel Shirley. Please no emails until I let you all know though, except for prayer request. Martha's prayer request are below.

This prayer request was sent to me by a very good friend. Please add
this family to your prayers. - Her name is Maggie Cobb. She's 9 and lives in Texarkana. - Her parents are Mike & Kristi Cobb. Maggie has a seven year old sister, Georgia & brother Jackson, (they are twins). She goes to school at Pleasant Grove Elementary & she is in Girl Scouts. - Recently Maggie started having vision problems and acting clumsy. Her parents took her to the Dr. On May 21, 2009, a MRI was ordered & revealed a walnut size tumor in her brain. - Maggie was immediately sent to Children's Hospital in Little Rock . The tumor is benign, however, it is located in the middle of her brain & is strangling her brain stem. Therefore the tumor is inoperable. The Doctors at Children's have given Maggie 8 to 12 months to live. - They said that she will most likely be completely blind in another 1 to 2 weeks & paralyzed within a month. - Maggie was then sent to St. Jude's in Memphis , TN. The doctors there agree that it is inoperable & her prognosis is very grim. They are going to be treating her with chemo & radiation in an attempt to shrink the tumor. - Maggie is in desperate need of a miracle, please pray to our Lord & Savior that she is granted one. - We want to spread the word about Maggie to as many people as we can, in hopes of increasing the number of prayers for her. - Please send this email to your friends & family, & post it on your personal web pages & blogs. I am doing much better this morning, and I can see wonderfully. Praise the Lord. I slept like a rock last night! Shirley.
Kim should be back and in business again tomorrow.
Saints, the news we’ve received thus far over the weekend has been all good in regards to Flossie. Additionally, see below from our sister Lennda as we agree in prayer with her request. Again, thanking God first and foremost, we thank you all for your continuous prayers. Also, I will be attending a convention for women missionaries and will be offline the next 2-3 days. Please remember all prayers requests and especially to praise and thank God first and always! Please continue to send mail, prayer requests especially. Have a great day!
From: Lennda Bauer My Ex sister in law's (Evelyn) mom died this morning. She had been on hospice so it was not a shock, in a manner of speaking, but it was trauma, nonetheless. Please pray for Evelyn and her son Lenn as well as the grand children. I also ask for prayer for JJ again...He has relapsed into a drinking binge....I do so pray that God will deliver him from drinking and make him well, knowing that he just is not a person who is able to drink alcohol. I ask these things in Jesus name Amen
but from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ (mark 10:6 nkj)
God's plan, rooted in the creation story of genesis 2, is that one woman and one man be married for life. as male and female, we are different, yet each one is created in the image of God. we are different -- not just because of the difference in our two lives, with different experiences and different tastes, but also because we are made fundamentally different. learning to blend these differences through mutual love and submission reflects the mystery of God Himself, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
O Father in heaven, help the marriages among Your people today more fully reflect Your divine intention. teach us to submit to each other out of love and respect -- not just love and respect for our marriage partner, but also love and respect for Jesus as our Lord. in His name, i pray. amen.
In Christian Love and God Bless Martha and Robert
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you…Matt. 7:12 Forgiveness is not an occasional act, it is a permanent attitude."
Saints, please see request from our sister, Ruby, below. We agree in prayer with her and family at the Tempe congregation. All praises to God! Thanks all!
Reminder: I’m offline tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday DAY, but will send prayer requests late evenings!

Hi Martha,
I hope you and Rob are well. Please include the forwarded information on your prayer and inspiration page. Our preacher, Dennis Webber, is extremely ill and he and his family need all the prayers they can get. It is a shock to us all. He seemed to be just fine last week. At any rate, please keep the Webber family and the Tempe church in your prayers.
I love you guys .Ruby
----- From: Tempe Church of Christ Sent: Monday, July 06, 2009 4:33 PM Subject: Dennis update
I just talked with Megan--Dennis and Linda's daughter.
They had to give Dennis another transfusion today. He has spiked a fever of 104 and they were packing ice around him. He is in isolation and can only have pre-packaged or canned food. No fresh veggies or fruit.
He had the bone marrow test today. The results take TWO WEEKS. The guy said it was hard to get through his bones which is a good indicator that it is not cancer. An infectious disease specialist has been called in. He is in isolation. He is susceptible to everything right now.
He is currently on his way to get a CAT scan of his brain. They are concerned because he is having severe headaches. They want to make sure he does not have a brain bleed. They are also doing a chest x-ray to make sure he does not have pneumonia.
There is a high probability that he will need a bone marrow transplant. BUT, they have ruled out cancer as a cause.
Dennis was at the reunion in California when the doctor's office here in Phoenix called and said his blood tests results were horrible and he was in danger of bleeding out and that he needed to get to the hospital. He didn't get there for another 6 hours and apparently crashed (medically) after arriving. The Loma Linda Hospital is apparently top in the nation for handling this type of problem so we pray that God will guide them to find a cure.
Side notes: Michaela is in Tucson and will stay with her aunt for a while. Danae had to go back to school today and is scrambling to find day care for Ava. Linda has not left the hospital except to run to a cousin's house to shower.
I will continue to send out updates as they come in. Diane Diane Jensen Office Administrator Tempe Church of Christ

When nothing seems to help, I go and look
at a stonecutter hammering away at a rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it--but all that had gone before. Jacob Riis Hebrews 3:6 (Amplified Bible)6But Christ (the Messiah) was faithful over His [own Father's] house as a Son [and Master of it]. And it is we who are [now members] of this house, if we hold fast and firm to the end our joyful and exultant confidence and sense of triumph in our hope [in Christ]. Hebrews 12:1 Amp. Bible 1THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, When all the world is looming dark
