will report on marketing and fundraising activity,



Recommended Action:

Review Marketing & Fundraising activity, including initiatives of the
VetFund Foundation, Veterans of Foreign Wars, individual donors and
business/corporate support.





4. Architectural & Engineering Design Services
Richard Wyatt

John Suesens

Quadriga Landscape Architecture and Planning, Inc. has completed the
architectural and engineering design phase of the Memorial Project. Bid
document boiler plate creation is in process.



Recommended Action

Mr. Suesens (Quadriga Landscape Architecture and Planning, Inc.) will review
the process executed to design the Memorial.



5. 2012 Committee Meeting Dates

The Committee has revised its 2012 Meeting Dates to schedule meetings every
two months.



Recommended Action

Approve 2012 Committee Meeting Calendar, and post dates on MAVM, CalVet and
other partner/public websites.





Future Agenda Items: Any Committee member or staff desiring to place items
on the agenda, or items not on the agenda, but within the purview of the
Committee, may make such request.



Public Comment Period: Members of the public desiring to speak on items on
the agenda, or items not on the agenda, but within the purview of the
Committee, may make such request.



Adjournment.

2011, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the California Department of Veterans
