Welcome aboard the USS AMBERJACK. A DISCOVERY-class starship, we represent a new breed of Light Cruiser. This class starship seeks to prove that size does not necessarily mean better.

The orignal USS DISCOVERY was lost during initial tests. Following that loss, the second ship to be constructed of this class, the USS AMBERJACK, was christened and took it's place as testbed for this class and new technologies for the heavy cruiser and other ship classifications with similar systems.

This ship and crew were originally assigned to the Ansolon Expeditionary Force within the Harbour Defense Force, and performed continuing tests of new systems while also serving as a ship of the line.

Now the USS AMBERJACK has a new crew. She is also part of the Emergancy Response Force (ERF) who's missions are to aid Federation ships, and colonies when needed.

This design project embraces a close working relationship between Starfleet Engineering and the civilian Daystrom Spaceframe Industries.

As a joint forces operation between the Federation, Klingon Empire, and Romulan Star Empire, the Harbour Defense Force (HDF) allows for interaction between the different powers while joining them in our endevours within the region. We exist outside the governments of the big three, but yet represent them all at the same time. Overall, our missions range from defense to reconnaisance of the surrounding region to exploration, first contact, diplomacy, and all points in between.

While visiting with us, please note that although the AMBERJACK may not be the largest ship in the fleet, she comes with great strength and resolve that lets her get the job done.
