My question was not from chhandas standpoint - but simply to understand all the
words in the verse. paadukaa is singular-feminine, hence both lines can be
ekikaa as posted by Sriram.
Somehow, the Sriram's 1st mail with a detailed intro was not in my Inbox, I got
that now from the archives. I am sorry for missing this.
