Alternative fuels, like straight veg oil, waste veg oil, waste motor oil and biodiesel are being successfully burned in adapted residential oil-fired gun-style furnace burners such as Aero, Arco, Bock, R.W.Beckett, Carlin, Ducane, International, Riello, Slant Finn, Wayne and others. (This forum is for gun-style oil burners ONLY - no Babbington or drip.)

PURPOSE OF THE FORUM

The forum is a meeting place to exchange information and ideas for adapting/building residential gun-style oil burners from home heating oil to burn alternative fuels. This includes info on other devices; pre-heaters, heat-exchangers, heat-retention units, thermocouples, pumps, filters, temperature controllers, relay devices, etc. The main thrust of this forum is to build an alternative-fueled oil burner.
